As the focal point for the Green and Gender Sensitive Public Spaces project, I coordinated a multidisciplinary team to redesign urban open spaces in Musanze and Rubavu. Using GIS mapping and environmental planning, underrepresented groups—especially women and youth—were involved in shaping green spaces that are safe, accessible, and climate-resilient. The project not only enhanced urban ecology but also promoted social inclusion and environmental awareness.
